I’ve been running weekly coaching calls for a small group, and recently had to switch to a paid Zoom plan because the free version kept cutting us off mid-session. At first it felt manageable, but when I reviewed my yearly expenses, Zoom stood out more than I expected. I’m not a big company, just a solo coach trying to keep costs under control. Has anyone here actually found a reliable way to lower the subscription price? Not looking for shady coupons, just something legit that works.

I ran into the same issue last year when our startup started hosting regular client demos. Zoom became essential overnight. We started looking into SaaS cost optimization tools and found that some platforms help negotiate better software deals. That’s how we came across this page: Zoom Discount From what I understand, Spendbase focuses on helping businesses reduce SaaS expenses rather than just offering promo codes. We ended up reviewing our subscriptions through them and managed to reduce our Zoom cost, plus a couple of other tools. It wasn’t instant magic, but it definitely helped in the long run.

Interesting thread. I don’t run a business, but I use Zoom for remote study groups and occasional freelance meetings. I’ve never really thought about negotiating software prices — I just assumed the listed price was final. It’s kind of eye-opening to see that there might be options out there. Makes me wonder how many other tools I’m overpaying for without realizing it.
